| 'Dentist 2' actress Jillian
McWhirter gets the Celebritymate interview treatment. Open wide and say
'aaahhhhhhh.' DD Firstly I have to ask - are you afraid of the dentist? Or what does scare you? JM "Well, it's not my favourite place to go to, but it must be done and I have the best dentist ever. His name is Doctor Hands. No kidding!!"  Of course, I'm asking because you starred in 'The Dentist 2', which has probably one of THE best tag-lines for a video ever ('You know the drill'). I'm a sucker for anything like that... Are you a horror movie fan? "I'm a fan of a movie which has a great story with it. That would go for horror, drama, or comedy. The one horror film I'm a huge fan of is 'Rosemary's Baby.' That's a great film." DD You have worked with Corbin 'Major League' Bernsen a fair few times actually - are you guys celebrity mates in real-life? "Well, Whenever we see each other out and about we always spend time talking. He's a lot of fun to be around and a really nice man." DD What's your favourite Corbin Bernsen movie (and you're not allowed to say 'Dentist 2'!)? JM "I thought he was great in the 'LA Law reunion' TV show. He is really a funny actor and I would like to see more comedy from him." DD Have you any funny/shocking on-set tales you can share with us? JM "Hmmmmmm, when I had to do the love scene in 'Dentist,' the man that I was supposed to do it with chickened out! He used a body double instead! Corbin couldn't believe it and was teasing the guy who chickened out all day. It was really funny." DD How did you first get into acting? I noticed you've also done stage acting... JM "I was one of Fords' faces in New York. People got to see me and told me I should get into TV acting, which I did. That in turn blossomed into film and stage." DD Now you also appeared in 'Bloodfist VII' - do you have any qualms about starring in violent movies? JM "I saw the 'Bloodfist' movies as the 'Good guys' win. If the 'Bad guys' won, I don't think I would have done it." DD What is Don 'The Dragon' Wilson like in person? A pussycat or a... erm... dragon? JM "He is the most giving man. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is happy."  DD
Am I right that you are just recently a Mom? What's motherhood like and will it
affect your film career at all? JM "Yes, I am a new mom and I'm really loving it. It is the hardest job I've ever done!! And she is so worth it. I'm back auditioning now and sometimes when they need a baby they ask me to bring my daughter along too. She just got a call-back on a commercial and we had so much fun. She loves the attention." DD And what else have you got lined up in the future, apart from dirty diapers?! Any films, TV... in the pipeline?
